Twilight Trail Hike Series: Waterville Segment
This 4.5 mile out-and-back hike will include part of the Waterville Segment. We will hike from the church and cross CTH D where we will pick up the IAT and head north and hike to Waterville Road, then turn back and return to the parking lot. A stop along the way will include a new dry-stone wall recently built using historic methods.
This hike has a difficulty rating of medium. Remember to dress appropriately for the weather, bring water and a flashlight/headlamp. Hiking sticks and bug spray might be helpful. Dogs are welcome but must be leashed and cleaned up after. Please bring water for your dogs as well.
Look for these phenological events* on this hike: New England Aster and Turtlehead begin to bloom.
